Fund I
Prairie Capital Mezzanine Fund L.P. is a $70 million committed fund that closed on September 23, 1997, and was fully invested in 22 companies. The fund's investment capital was provided by numerous high-net-worth individuals, former entrepreneurs, and community bank groups. Our final platform investment in this first fund was completed on May 15, 2000, and Prairie has now exited most of its Fund I investments.
Fund II
A committed fund of $140 million, Prairie Capital II, L.P. closed in May of 2000. Private capital for this second fund was largely provided by many of the original limited partners from our first fund, supplemented by new strategic partners and regional banks.
This second fund has completed all of its platform investments, and has exited a majority of its investments.
Fund III
With total commitments of $180 million, Prairie Capital III, L.P. closed in September of 2003. Capital for this third fund was largely provided by many of the original limited partners from the first two funds, supplemented by new high-net-worth individuals.
Prairie Capital III has made its final platform investment and is actively pursuing add-on opportunities while monitoring current investments.
Fund IV
Prairie Capital IV, L.P. closed in December 2006 with total committed capital of $250 million. Our fourth fund is actively investing in new opportunities. See our current Fund IV investments.
