Tom leads the finance function at Prairie and is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, treasury management, tax and investor reporting. Prior to Prairie, Tom was a Deputy CFO at Magnetar Capital LLC leading finance and accounting for the management companies. Prior to Magnetar, Tom was a Director-Finance at GTCR, LLC responsible for the firm’s valuation process. In addition, Tom worked closely with portfolio company CFOs on cost initiatives, and supported GTCR’s investor relations activities and reporting. Tom began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working for audit and advisory clients primarily in the financial services sector. Tom received a BBA in Accounting, with Honors, from Ohio University and an MBA, with Honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He and his wife have two children and live in Winnetka, Illinois.
